SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA -- An autopsy is still pending for a burned body found near Castaic Lake that some believe could be a missing college student from Orange County.
Coroners officials say there is a backlog of cases and haven't said when an autopsy will be scheduled. The body was found early Wednesday morning. Family members of 19-year-old Bryce Laspisa are worried the body could be his.
The Sierra College student had been driving home from Northern California and had told his mother he was pulling over along Interstate 5 to get some sleep. His car was found later with his wallet inside.
