After months of high fire danger, Cal Fire has lifted its burning restrictions in parts of Northern California.
Cal Fire said residential burning of leaves and other outdoor items can resume in Nevada, Yuba, Placer and Sierra counties this Friday, November 1st.
Fire officials do urge residents to use caution though.
As a reminder, they said you can't have a pile more than four feet in diamter and must clear all flammable material within a 10-feet edge of the pile.
Also extremely important? Make sure you always have water near the burning site.
