Sacramento Kings center DeMarcus Cousins was named NBA Western Conference Player of the Week after leading the Kings to a 3-0 record, averaging 25 points a game and 12-point-7 rebounds.

Cousins recorded a double-double in all three wins for the Kings, highlighted by a 35 point and 13 rebound performance in a 123-119 win over the Portland Trail Blazers on Tuesday, January 7th.

Through 45 games, the 6'11" center is averaging 23.3 points and 11.5 rebounds per game.
