Devo guitarist Bob Casale has died. Casale's brother Gerald tells TMZ Bob passed away suddenly on Monday citing, "health complications that led to heart failure." He was 61. Both Bob and Gerald were founding members of Devo, the post-punk new wave outfit known for the hit 1980 song "Whip It." Gerald describes his "level-headed" brother as "a solid performer" and a "talented audio engineer, always giving more than he got."

Devo was formed in 1972. The band's last album, "Something for Everyone" was released in 2010.
