Treatment continues at Emory University Hospital for the American doctor who contracted Ebola while working with patients in West Africa.

CBS News Correspondent Omar Villafranca reports that Dr. Kent Brantly is showing signs of improvement.

Doctor Tom Frieden of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention says Brantly is already getting better less than 24 hours after he started to receive care in an isolation unit in the hospital.

"We're hoping he'll continue to improve but Ebola is such a scary disease because it's so deadly," said Frieden.

A fellow colleague of Brantly and second American medical missionary stricken with the often deadly Ebola virus is expected to be flown Tuesday to the U.S. for treatment at the Emory University Hospital's infectious disease unit.
