Former California Republican Party Chairman Ron Nehring has announced he will run for the state's number two job. Nehring says he wants to enact reforms to deal with the state's problems of unemployment, poverty and failing schools. It's a huge challenge for Nehring as the Republican Party has less than 29-percent of the state's registered voters. However, he feels he can sway the large number of independent voters.
