The mother of a Los Angeles-area high school student killed in a tour bus crash in Northern California is suing over her daughter's death.

Rosa Rivera has filed a negligence lawsuit against FedEx, claiming the company has a history of fires breaking out in its vehicles.

Rivera's daughter Jennifer Bonilla was one of 10 people killed on April 10 when the tour bus they were in collided with a FedEx truck outside Orland.  According to her attorney she's suing for $10 million.

The lawsuit alleges the FedEx driver was negligent in crossing traffic lanes on Interstate 5 and crashing head-on with the bus.

Rivera's lawsuit also targets the estate of the FedEx truck driver, who died in the crash, and the company that owned the tour bus.
