Are you planning on making some extra money this holiday season with some food sales? Then there are some regulations you need to know.

Zarah Ruiz is a Supervising Environmental Specialist for Sacramento County.

"There's a very specific list of non-potentially-hazardous food items that they're allowed to make," Ruiz said.

Those include bread, cookies and dry pasta. If you plan on deviating from that list, then you're required to use an industrial kitchen.

There's also income requirements with a limit of $35,000 this year, and a number of fees you need to pay.
