"Scandal" actor Columbus Short is free on bail after his arrest Wednesday for felony aggravated battery.
A warrant was issued for Short's arrest following a criminal investigation into a fight at a Los Angeles bar on March 15th. The 31-year-old actor is accused of causing serious bodily injury when he allegedly knocked a man unconscious and broke his nose while attending an engagement party at Gabe's Bar and Grill.
Short was booked by police in Claremont, California Wednesday and released on 50-thousand-dollars bail. He faces up to four years in prison if convicted.
Short plays Harrison Wright on the hit ABC series "Scandal." He also appeared in the films "Stomp The Yard," "The Losers" and "Death at a Funeral."
TMZ.com says Short has a history of violent episodes and was arrested twice last month for altercations with his wife.
