Seattle Seahawks fans are loud -- but they want to be the loudest.

Fans going to Sunday's game against the San Francisco 49ers might be well advised to bring their earplugs.

The Seahawks faithful will try to set a new Guinness World Record for the loudest roar at a stadium. The current record was set in 2011 in Turkey at a soccer match. That mark is over 131 decibels.

According to the National Institutes of Health website, that's louder than a jet engine at takeoff. The noisy record attempt is being organized by fan and former player Joe Tafoya. They'll have plenty of voices ready, as the game is a sellout.
