Sacramento District Attorney Jan Scully says Twin Rivers Unified school board trustee Cortez Quinn has been arrested on felony charges including perjury and filing false financial statements.

Quinn allegedly lied about receiving thousand of dollars in gifts and personal loans from a female Twin Rivers employee with whom he had a relationship -- just accepting gifts is a violation of state law.

Prosecutors say the relationship also produced a son in 2011.

Quinn was ordered to take a paternity test, but allegedly conspired with laboratory techinican Andre Pearson to provide fraudulent evidence in court showing Quinn was not the father.

Pearson was arrested on felony obstruction of justice charges, which have also been filed against Quinn.
