You go, boyyy! Martin Lawrence is set to be honored at VH1's 2017 Hip-Hop Honors: The 90’s Game Changers, Billboard reports.

All true fans of Marty-Mar know that 1990s television shows and movies were some of the best and most hilarious that we've ever seen because of the actor/comedian. With his hit show, Martin -- that is still a fan-favorite today and celebrated its 25 year anniversary this year -- and films like Bad Boys, Boomerang, A Thin Line Between Love and Hate and much more, Lawrence ran the entertainment industry with his comedic genius that was always true to our lives and always had hip hop flavor.

So, it's great that he's now getting acknowledged for his accomplishments. “Anytime anyone wants to recognize you for your work, it’s an honor. I am looking forward to a really great night of fun and music,” he told Billboard about his upcoming honor via a press release.

On top of Lawrence getting his just due, Missy Elliott will kick off the event and Regina Hall will be hosting. What a fun night this is going to be! Tune in on Monday (Sept. 18) at 9 p.m. ET on VH1 to watch.
