Life is good for Tiger Woods' ex Elin Nordegren. After nine years, the former wife of Tiger Woods graduated at the top of her class from Rollins College on Saturday. According to the New York Daily News, the psychology major earned a 3-point-98 grade point average, the Outstanding Graduating Senior Award, and a chance to speak at the commencement ceremony.
And if you think the Swedish-born former nanny passed up the opportunity to joke about her marriage, think again. Elin said that her divorce from the golf superstar – whom she never mentioned by name – occurred right after she’d taken communications and the media. She said, “I probably should have taken more notes in that class.” She added that she was able to find solace in the classroom. You’ll recall that Elin famously chased Tiger our of their Orlando-area mansion with a golf club on November 27th, 2009, after she got tired of his philandering ways. They finalized their divorce in August of 2010 and she got a $100-million dollar settlement.
