It FINALLY Happened: Pebbles Sues Viacom over "TLC" Movie

We knew this was coming....

Perri “Pebbles” Reid is suing Viacom for $40 million dollars over the movie “CrazySexyCool: The TLC Story.” According Page Six, Reid, who formerly managed the group, claimed in Atlanta federal court late Friday that the 2013 VH1 movie made her look like, “a conniving and dishonest business woman who hoodwinked three innocent girls and exploited their talent for her own personal gain.”

You’ll recall that Tionne “T-Boz” Watkins, Lisa “Left Eye” Lopes, and Rozanda “Chilli” Thomas filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection after selling 11 million copies of their 1994 album, “CrazySexyCool.” Record execs said TLC only filed in order to void their contracts, but the girls, who sued LaFace Records and Pebbitone, Reid’s management compancy, claimed they were paid only $50-thousand dollars a year each in 1993 and 1994. Viacom’s spokesperson said they don’t comment on matters in litigation. Stay tuned.
