Lauryn Hill fans, get your DVRs set for Friday night. That's because the singer is set to appear on David Letterman to perform a tribute to The Beatles.

It's part of a week-long celebration of the 50th anniversary of the Fab Four's legendary first appearance on The Ed Sullivan Show.

If you worry Lauryn might pull a no-show on Letterman, it sounds like she's begun taking her commitments more seriously. Vibe called one of her recent shows in DC a "return to form," while the New York Times called a recent Manhattan gig an "exultant show, and anything but robotic."
