"Scandal" Star Gets Served

Posted April 18th, 2014 @ 8:06am

Ladies, it looks like Columbus Short is truly back on the market. But before you get out your freakum dresses, check the details. According to E! Online, Tuere Tanee filed for divorce from the “Scandal” star yesterday in Los Angeles Superior Court. She used the standard “irreconcilable differences” as her reasoning, and asked for both physical and legal custody of their two-year-old daughter, Ayala. She also asked for – and got – a temporary restraining order.

Apparently an intoxicated Columbus walked into her room, grabbed the phone out of her hand, and started yelling at her abusively. He even lunged at her a few times and acted like he was going to hit her. When she tried to get away, he cornered her and dumped his wine on her. He also pulled a knife on her and tried to kill her. Columbus and Tuere were married in July 2005 and separated on Monday, April 7th. A hearing will be held on Tuesday, May 6th to determine if the restraining order should be made permanent.
