Is the city of Los Angeles about to say, “No,” to Jay-Z?
Apparently City Councilman Jose Huizar wants to block permits for the Budweiser “Made in America” fest that scheduled for Labor Day weekend. The two-event would require numerous street closures around Grand Park in downtown Los Angeles – some for as long as 10 days. Huizar says that it would create a major disruption for residents and local business.
So far, Beyoncé’s husband hasn’t commented on the situation. Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti says discussions about the event and its impact to the region are ongoing, and no final decisions have been made. The Budweiser “Made in America” fest was held in Philadelphia last year and featured Queen Bey and Nine Inch Nails.
