Drake Beefs Up Home Security Amid Kanye West Feud

Kanye West has said Drake is threatening him, but Drake is the one bumping up his security.

According to TMZ, the "In My Feelings" rapper isn't taking any chances when it comes to his safety amid his feud with Ye. Drake has reportedly added extra security outside of his Hidden Hills home, which is in the same neighborhood as Mr. West's (their houses are said to be less than half a mile from each other).

"Drake's crib has at least two new guards standing watch outside the gate to his driveway," TMZ reports. A source also told the site the security guards were added the day after Ye began firing off tweets alleging that Drake was threatening him and his family.

As previously reported, on Thursday (December 13), Kanye lashed out at Drake on Twitter after receiving a text asking for clearance to perform/use the song "Say What’s Real," a song originally by Kanye ("Say You Will") that was remixed by Drake in 2009. Ye's rant touched on a number of topics, including the rumor he told Pusha T about Drake's secret son, the "God's Plan" rapper's Yeezy diss on "No Stylist," Ye's belief that the Drake still owes him an apology, and a long list of Ye's personal grievances. However, later in the evening, Kanye returned to Twitter with a new rant, accusing Drake of threatening his family.

"Drake called trying to threatened me," he wrote. "I got a family and kids... He running around like he pac... There would never be a drake without a Kanye west so never come out your mouth with a threat." He added: "We both too high profile for you to actually do something to me. You trying to be a bully. I never been bullied in my life and I never will be. That's why I made it this far ina pink polo..."  And when it looked like the rant was coming to an end, as Ye tweeted that he and Drake needed to sit down to talk things over, Kanye picked things back up, continuing to issue warnings to Drake about his alleged threats. "Never threaten north saint and Chicago's dad bro... Leave me and my family alone bro... You threatened the safety of me and my family."

Kanye's wife, Kim Kardashian, also addressed Drake's alleged threats, issuing him a warning on Twitter. "@drake Never threaten my husband or our family. He paved the way for there to be a Drake," she wrote before showering her husband with praise. "My husband is the most brilliant person, the most genius person that I know. He has broken so many boundaries, everything from music, stage design, fashion and culture and will continue to change the world."

While Drake has yet to respond to Kanye or Kim's tweets accusing him of threatening them, he did seemingly respond to Ye's earlier Twitter rant (the one where Kanye demanded that Drake issue him an apology) by simply putting "😂😂😂😂😂" on his Instagram Story.
