Why Geto Boys' Willie D Didn't Attend Bushwick Bill's Funeral...

The hip hop community experienced a huge loss after Bushwick Bill of the Geto Boys passed away last month from stage 4 pancreatic cancer.

In a recent interview with VladTV, Willie D of the Geto Boys addressed why he did not attend the funeral. He explains that the the two did not get along and Bill wouldn't have wanted him there.

"Bill didn't like me. I ain't like Bill, you know what I'm saying?" said Willie D. "I know that if Bill had his choice, Bill probably see me walk up and be like, 'Get that mutha***** outta here.' That's how I feel. The energy is not right, bro."

Willie D says he did not attend Geto Boys founding member DJ Ready Red's funeral last August either.

"Me and Red was cool for a long time, but like the last year and a half of Red's life, we didn't speak," he said. "He was still made at how things went down with the Geto Boys and how we wouldn't let him back in the group after he walked away."
