101-Year-Old Crosses Finish Line at 4 Miler Race #GoodNews

Earlier this month, 15,000 runners and walkers took part in the Ohio State 4 Miler, a huge race that ended in the middle of Ohio Stadium.

One of those participants was Lois Marge Stroebel, who crossed the finish line -- at 101 years old.

Family members pushed Lois in her transport wheelchair for most of the race. But then, with 50 yards to go, Lois stood up and walked the final stretch to the finish line, where she was greeted by Race Director David Babner and cheered on by everyone around her.

Lois admitted that she wasn't even tired, thanking her family for doing โ€œall the work.โ€ But it was a special accomplishment, crossing the finish line for the second year in a row and being a part of an event that raised more than $100,000 for cancer research. (The Columbus Dispatch)
