Akon still has his sights on the White House – even if meansrunning as Kanye West’s VP in 2024. He recently shared on “The Real” that as an “immigrant and a Black man,” he “can take the country and move it forward.” Plus he’s currently advising 30 African presidents so he has the political experience.
The producer also mentioned ‘Ye running for president would be great for the culture since he’s “woke” even though some may feel that Mr.Kim Kardashian isn’t “fit” to run. “Kanye is not crazy, he’s just be awakened. From a spiritual state, I just feel like he’s awake now. Now he’s the most amazing marketer in the world. He understands his audience, but he’s definitely not crazy, he knows what he’s doing. My thing is, if he does run, it’s great for the culture. Now if you think he’s not fit, that’s another thing, that’s why you got me as another choice.”
While Akon is definitely NOT on board withDonald Trump’s politics like ‘Ye, he thinks their difference in beliefs could make them stronger.
