Help Support Sacramento Food Bank & Family Services

Before COVID-19, one in five children in Sacramento County was hungry. Today, due to school closures and job losses, that number has skyrocketed.

For the past 4 decades, Sacramento Food Bank & Family Services has been working to keep our community fed, clothed and educated. And most importantly, they connect resources in the region that would allow our most vulnerable to live the life they wished with dignity and grace.

But they can't do it alone. They need our help to feed the need when the cost is so great.Sacramento Food Bank & Family Services has seen demand for food in Sacramento County more than double since the pandemic of COVID-19 started. The need for services has far exceeded the emergency food network SFBFS has spent years building. As job losses in all industries continue to occur, the need for food has grown exponentially. Many who are utilizing SFBFS’ services have never had to get food from a food bank in their lifetime.
