Kansas City Chiefs’ Quarterback is rolling in the dough according to ESPN. It looks like the young phenom quarterback has signed the richest deal in American sports history, inking a 10-year $450 million contract, beating out baseball phenom Mike Trout’s 12-year $426.5 million contract.
Not only is Mahomes contract the largest in sports history, it is also the longest in NFL history. The defending champion quarterback contains $140 million in injury guarantees. Mike Trouts contract is fully guaranteed.
Combined with his current 2-year contract, Mahomes can make out with a total $477.6 million in 12-years.
