The CA State Fair may be cancelled for 2020, but the State Fair is still hosting community events like our iHeart Community Blood Drive! Once you schedule your safe on-line donation, you'll get all the details on the location in the Main Gate in Building A at Cal Expo.
To comply with social distancing practices, we are asking all of our blood donors to please schedule an appointment. Registration opens on Monday, July 20th.
Vitalant requires all donors to wear face coverings. Given limited supplies, Vitalant is unable to provide masks to every donor at this time. However, in order to donate blood, donors will be required to bring their own cloth-based face covering.
Your blood donation delivers DOUBLE the good when you help to save lives and learn your COVID-19 antibody status. Antibody tests are used to tell if someone had a past infection with SARS-CoV-2, the coronavirus that causes COVID-19.
