For DaBaby's latest project titled My Brother’s Keeper (Long Live G), the Charlotte-bred rapper paid tribute to his late brother, Glenn Johnson, who died at the age of 34 earlier this month.

Baby announced the EP, which features guest spots from Meek Mill, Polo G, NoCap and Toosii, on Wednesday (November 18), sharing the project's cover art and a one-minute snippet of the title track to social media.

On Friday (November 20), he released a video for the album's lead single "Gucci Peacoat," in which he reflects on his big brother's life and death. "Lately I been in my feelings like a h*/ I ain't been really havin' hope 'cause I been missin' my bro/ I was at the polls in a Gucci Peacoat/ Tryna tell all y'all b*tch a** ni**as, 'Come vote'/ Damn bruh, you aren't the only one who felt alone/ I been feelin' lonely too, I probably say it every song," he raps. "Lookin' at my nieces, broke me down to pieces/ Cryin' at the hospital, askin' 'Why you leave us?'"

Glenn was found dead in a parking lot on November 3 in Charlotte, North Carolina. He died by suicide.

In the weeks since Glenn's passing, DaBaby has been calling attention to mental health, tweeting, "#MentalHealthAwarenessIf you can’t get over depression GET HELP, you see a loved one struggling get them help, they refuse the help, MAKE em get treated anyway.
