A woman who says she was forced into the trunk of her car at gun point, made a brave escape.
Cops in Birmingham, Alabama say the woman told them she was approached by a man carrying a gun who demanded money. When they got to a gas station, the man got out of the car to withdraw money, but after he got back in the car to leave, the woman popped the safety latch in the trunk and jumped out.
Nursing student Brittany Diggs explains how she managed to escape from the trunk of her car after being kidnapped. "I remember seeing a video on Facebook" about how to find a trunk's release latch, she told the Today show. "So I got the bright idea to use my insulin pump light."
