As the first anniversary of Prince's death approaches, fans will have the chance to create a new memorial fence.
The next two Mondays (April 3rd and 10th), visitors will be permitted onto the Paisley Park grounds in suburban Minneapolis to place items on a new section of cyclone fence in tribute to the Purple One. There will be no charge. Those who pay for the tour of Prince's compound on other days will also get the opportunity to leave behind mementos.
This purple fence will remain up through April 20th, with the items displayed being preserved by the Paisley Park staff, as was done in the days after Prince's death.
What's billed as "The Celebration." a Graceland-eque series of live shows, panel discussions and tours, will be held at Paisley Park from April 20th through the 23rd.
