TLC's New Album Has A Release Date

posted by Big Al Sams -

TLC’s crowd-sourced album finally has a release date

We can expect to see the as-yet-untitled project on June 30th.

Not only is this the group’s first album since “3D” in 2002, it’s also the first one without Lisa “Left Eye” Lopes, who died in 2002 at the age of 30. Rozanda “Chilli” Thomas says that she’s still included on the new songs. “Even though you cannot physically see [Lisa], you will always feel her presence and we make sure of it. We just continue to come up with different creative ways to do that – whether it’s guest appearances or some type of image.”

Right after the album drops, Chilli and Tionne “T-Boz” Watkins will hit the road with the “I Love the 90s – The Party Continues Tour.” It kicks off on July 7th in Everett, Washington, with stops in Phoenix, Houston, and New Orleans before wrapping up in Chicago on September 16th.
