It sure pays to be rich and have friends with deep pockets – a wealthy California murder suspect is posting one of the highest bails ever. Tiffany Li is covering the 35-million-dollar bail with 62-million-dollars in property, four-million in cash from her parents in China and the rest from friends. In California, it's required that defendants twice the bail amount if property is used instead of cash.
Her attorney says it's the eighth-highest bail set by any state court in U.S. history. The San Francisco woman is charged along with her boyfriend and another man of last year's murder of Keith Green, her ex-boyfriend and father of her two children. The other suspects – one of which is Li’s boyfriend – are on no-bail holds.
