It looks like the drama between Vin Diesel and Dwayne Johnson might not be that serious. Well, at least according to Diesel. As we've previously reported, there have been rumors of beef on the set of the "Fate and the Furious" but Diesel says the two are "weirdly close."
"I think some things may be blown out of proportion," the actor and movie's producer explains. "I know he appreciates how much I work this franchise. In my house, he’s Uncle Dwayne."
"I protect the franchise. I protect everybody including Dwayne. I protected Dwayne more than he’ll ever know," Diesel adds. "And it doesn’t matter. He doesn’t have to know. But he appreciates it. He knows it. Dwayne has only got one Vin in his life. Dwayne Johnson only has one big brother in this film world and that’s me."
The actor goes on to call himself the "first multicultural megastar in Hollywood" and says he'll always root for Johnson because seeing another one coming up is something he's "very proud of."
