Big Al's Weekend Box Office Wrap Up! 'Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom' Wins!

In its opening weekend, "Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom" claimed the #1 spot. The fifth installment in Universal Pictures’ franchise is on track to earn about $150-million in ticket sales from theaters in the U.S. and Canada.

 

The number makes for Universal’s second-highest domestic debut ever, behind the first ever Jurassic World. That film went on to earn $1.67-billion in global ticket sales.

Dropping down to second place is Disney and Pixar’s "Incredibles 2," with an estimated $80.9 million. The movie had a record-setting debut last week, and has brought in about $350.3-million after 10 days in theaters.

"Ocean’s 8" dropped one spot to #3, "Tag" also dipped to #4 and and Fox’s "Deadpool 2" stays put to round out the top 5.
