“BlacKkKlansman” Coming BACK To Theaters After Oscar Nominations

So, it's happened. The 2019 Oscar nominees were announced. 

“BlacKkKlansman” received six nods, including Spike Lee’s first-ever for Best Picture and Best Director. Now, the movie is set to hit theaters again.

That’s right – fans will get a chance to see the movie again in 168 theaters across the county this weekend. The film starring John David Washington and Adam Driver will be showing in over 30 states, including New York, California and Florida, with free tickets offered to Academy members.

“We are thrilled that the Academy recognized ‘BlacKkKlansman’ with six nominations,” reads a statement from Focus Features president Lisa Bunnett. “Spike’s message that love must conquer hate feels like perfect time to have this film back in theaters.”
