HBO’s Thomas Middleditch: Being a Swinger “Saved” My Marriage

“Silicon Valley” star Thomas Middleditch is getting real about his “nontraditional” relationship with his wife of four years,Mollie Gates.The couple has had their ups and downs, but in a new interview withPlayboy, he says swinging “saved” their marriage.

Basically, the HBO star says that they’re on different wavelengths when it comes to sex – and Middleditch admits that he’s “the gas and she’s the brakes.” Once they were married, he suggested that they go “nontraditional” with their lifestyle. He’s glad that instead of peacing out, Mollie was down to “figure it out”... especially since it’s been working for them.

But it’s not a free-for-all, Middleditch notes they have “strict” rules about swinging. “We’re not off on our own, we’re together, a unit,” he adds. “We have different speeds, and we argue over it constantly, but t’s better than feeling unheard and alone and that you have to scurry in the shadows.”
