August 22nd marks Black Women's Equal Pay Day.
The day is to highlight the salary inequality many black women face.
According to Payscale, white women make 80 cents for every dollar a white man makes. On that same dollar, black women only earn 63 cents.
The fight continues to close the earnings gap based on race and gender.
