Donavan Mitchell Second NBA Player To Test Positive For Coronavirus

Utah Jazz v Dallas Mavericks

The Utah Jazz released a statement today confirming that Utah Jazz guard Donovan Mitchell has tested positive for Coronovirus. COVID-19 as it is officially called, has been declared a pandemic. Mitchell's teammate Rudy Gobert was the first NBA player to test positive for the virus. Since Gobert and Donovan both tested positive for COVID-19, the entire team and staff has been directed to self quarantine, as well as the Toronto Raptors team and staff, because they were the last team to play the Utah Jazz.

ESPN is reporting that teammates has expressed their displeasure with Rudy Gobert because according to them, he has been careless about the virus, touching players and their personal belongings. The NBA has suspended the rest of the season after news that Rudy Gobert tested positive for COVID-19. They have yet to say if the season will be postponed or canceled.
