A homeless man in Las Vegas is being praised for his heroic actions after running into a burning apartment to rescue two small children from the fire. Anival Angulo heard the kids screaming and saw smoke coming from an apartment, so he broke through a security door to get inside.
Angulo, who lives on the streets, was able to save a 10-month-old baby boy and a three-year-old girl from the fire. "Went to the door and saw the babies so I jumped the fence and I pulled on the screen door and I wrapped up the babies and pulled them
out," says Angulo. “I knew I had to get them out."
The children’s grandfather was watching them and left food on the stove when he went to another room and forgot about it. He couldn’t get back in to save them once it started the fire, so Angulo saved their lives. The kids were treated for smoke inhalation but will be fine, thanks to their personal hero.
