While there’s nothing wrong with being fashionably late to a party, Mariah Carey took it to a bit of an extreme this weekend. According to the “New York Post,” Mariah showed up to Clive Davis’ annual pre-GRAMMY party just as it was ending.
The paper says that most of the super star guests, like Beyonce and Jay-Z, arrived on time, with many of them leaving a little early to beat the crowds. And as some of those stars were sneaking out, Mariah and beau Bryan Tanaka, along with their entourage, attempted to enter, only to be told the bash was over.
Insiders claim Mariah’s tardiness was on purpose and she has planned to get there just to see Jennifer Hudson’s tribute to Aretha Franklin,which closed the night.
