Kanye West has official lost his mind. He appeared on yesterday’s edition of “TMZ Live” with his new friend, Candace Owens. The two of them were trying to explain the concept of free thought and how it can make the world a better place from a place of love.

Then Kanye actually opened his mouth and said, “When you hear about slavery for 4-hundred years. For 4-hundred years? That sounds like a choice.” That’s when TMZ’s Van Lathan went off on him. He basically said that while ‘Ye was entitled to his opinion, he was woefully out of touch. He added, “We have to deal with the marginalization that has come from the 4-hundred years of slavery that you said for our people was a choice. Frankly I disappointed, I’m appalled and brother, I am unbelievably hurt by the fact that you have morphed into something to me that’s not real.”
