On the first episode of her Facebook Watch show “Red Table Talk,” Jada Pinkett-Smith spoke with hubby Will Smith’s ex-wife Sheree Fletcher. Though the two are very friendly towards each other, things weren’t always so peachy. On the show, the two dished about one of their first feuds and how Will stepped in to put Jada in her place.
Sheree recalled a time where she called Will and Jada’s house to speak to her and Will’s then three-year-old son,Trey. “Very few times in my life I can recall being checked real hard where I didn’t have nothing to say,” Sheree says. “But you weren’t out of line.” Sheree admits she sounded disrespectful over the phone and Jada let her know how she felt. “You basically let me know, ‘I don’t really appreciate your tone,’ ” Sheree shares. “And you hung up on me.”
Well Sheree didn’t let that slide. She called back saying “B—- you living in the house I picked out,” to which Jada replied, “‘It’s my house now.’” That’s when Will had to intervene. “Will Smith let me have it,” Jada recalls. “His take was, ‘That is Trey’s mother and that’s just not your place.’”
The two were able to move on from the call and have since built a strong blended family. Sheree notes that Jada would always apologize. She says, “You always owned it. Thank you for that.”
