Los Angeles County Sheriff Deputies Tyler Milton and Alissa Farrington just reunited with a baby they helped save a few weeks ago. The boy’s father, Yasser Hanna, wanted personally thanks the officers.
The incident began when Deputy Milton pulled the Hanna family over because he noticed they were driving erratically. He thought the driver was drunk or driving a stolen vehicle. Once he saw crying parents with an unresponsive baby, he immediately grabbed the nine-month-old and performed CPR. He also radioed other officers in the area for help. That’s when Deputy Farrington arrived on the scene. Farrington and Milton rushed little Stephan Hanna to the hospital. Thankfully, the baby started breathing on his own minutes before arriving at the emergency room.
“It’s pretty amazing,” Milton said. “I don’t know how long he hadn’t been breathing for,[or] if he would make it or not. I’m just glad to see he’s here and healthy.”
