John Legend is the latest superstar to sign on for “The Voice.” The newly-crowned EGOT winner will join the NBC talent competition as a coach in season 16, which will launch this spring.
“I’m thrilled to join the coaches of ‘The Voice’,” Legend said. “I’ve been a guest and mentor on the show multiple times and I’m so excited to discover talented singers and help them make the most of their gift. I hope the world is ready for #TeamJL.”
Legend will replace Jennifer Hudson, who returns to judge the upcoming season 15, which premieres September 24th. Season 16’s other coaches will be Adam Levine, Blake Shelton and Kelly Clarkson.
