Pittsburgh Shooting Was Just Blocks From Mister Rogers’ Home

The horrific massacre at a Pittsburgh synagogue unfolded just blocks from the real home of the late Fred Rogers, host of "Mister Rogers' Neighborhood." 

Rogers lived in the Squirrel Hill neighborhood of Pittsburgh until he died in 2003 at the age of 74. 


One of Rogers' sons, John, who said his father would be devastated by Saturday's shooting. "I was definitely shocked," John said. "My thoughts and prayers are with them, as I'm sure my dad's are as well up in heaven."
