Sean “Diddy” Combs has finally broken his silence on Kim Porter’s death. As we told you, she was found dead last week in her Los Angeles area home. He posted a touching tribute to her on Instagram.
“For the last three days I’ve been trying to wake up out of this nightmare,” Puffy began. “But I haven’t. I don’t know what I’m going to do without you, baby. I miss you so much.” As he tried to explain what he called his unexplainable relationship with the mother his son, Christian, and twin daughters Jessie and D’Lia, he said, “We were more than best friends. We were more than soulmates. WE WERE SOME OTHER [ISH]!! And I miss you so much.” You can see his tribute HERE.
Al B. Sure also paid tribute to Porter, the mother of his son, Quincy. Apparently when Al found out she was pregnant, he was inspired to write, “Forever My Lady,” which was Jodeci’s first major hit. He posted a black and white photo of the two with the hashtag #ForeverMyLady.
- Finally, Dallas Austin revealed that he and Kim were lifelong friends. Their mothers had been pregnant with them at the same time, and she was even his prom date. In his Instagram post, the famed producer said that he felt like part of his soul had been taken away. Then he revealed that the movie “Drumline” was inspired by their relationship. “I know GOD is perfect, but sometimes even perfect can make a mistake.”
