Even though 2018 was good to Tiffany Haddish, she is human. And she had a bad night on stage in Miami on New Year’s Eve.
Haddish’s routine wasn’t connecting with the audience at the James L. Knight Center, and she knew it. As the people started leaving, she said, “This is weird for me. Now, this is going to be on TMZ or whatever.”
Among the subjects Tiffany touched on were her mom getting out of the mental institution, her family asking for money, and how her sister wanted a stove and a refrigerator but after rent, she only got a cooler. When things weren’t working out, she started drinking Ciroc with the audience. She later took to Twitter to say, “Yes, this happened. I wish it was better, Miami. I prayed on it and I have a strong feeling this will never happen again.”
ONE MORE THING! Tiff may be running afoul of PETA with her latest stance. In case you missed it, she posted a video on The ‘Gram to show off a fur vest a fan gave to her. She said, “I’mma wear fur every day until [the police] stop killing Black people.” Although she apologized to the animal-rights organization, she stood by her decision because people matter, too. “Don’t be mad at me. Be mad at the police,” she explained. “When they stop killing Black people, I’ll stop wearing fur … Because people are important, and so are the animals.”
