Kim Kardashian is celebrating yet another prison reform victory as Cyntoia Brown was granted clemency. Tennessee Governor Bill Haslam declared the young woman, who’s served 15 years of a life sentence for killing a man who was allegedly using her as a sex slave when she was 16, would be a free woman on parole on August 7th.

Cyntoia’s clemency campaign started garnering major attention when celebrities like Rihanna, LeBron James, and Snoop Dogg started talking about it. Kim even recruited her attorney, Shawn Holley, to help. Holley offered support, resources and called the District Attorney's Office on Cyntoia's behalf.
Mrs. Kanye West also went to the White House to meet with President Trump to talk about prison reform and clemency. As you know, she also played a major role in getting Alice Marie Johnsonand Matthew Charles freed.
