The documentary on Lifetime, Surviving R Kelly has caused a lot of reactions on social media. Many celebrities have distanced themselves from the singer, but not French Montana.
TMZ caught up with the rapper and he said Kelly should be allowed to "enjoy his legacy."
“They don’t let nobody have their legendary moments. They did Michael Jackson like that, they did R Kelly like that. All the greats went down like that. Let somebody enjoy their legacy. Whatever happened, happened, man.”
Montana pointed to R. Kelly's acquittal on 21 counts of child pornography in 2008, but a lot more people and charges have came out since then.
