Honor student Jordan Nixon was accepted into 39 colleges and received a whopping $1.6 million in scholarship money. She is a member of the Chick-fil-A Leadership Academy and is the co-captain of Douglas County High School cheerleading team. She’s also involved in a club for young business leaders.
The Georgia teen said Grambling State University was the first to send an acceptance letter and she’s still waiting on several more decision letters. While she's still narrowing down the schools she wants to attend, she’s already clear about her major – international business.
The 17-year-old also hopes her story will inspire others. “I wanted to challenge myself,” Nixon explained. “That was the most important thing for me, just to show others anything is possible and that anyone can accomplish it, too.”
