A Texas man decided to test Petco's policy of welcoming "all leashed pets" by walking his giant African Watusi steer into the store.
Customers and employees were stunned to see the 1,200-pound long-horned mammal stroll into the store, led by his owner. The animal, whose name is Oliver, was tame and friendly and allowed people in the store to pet him.
Petco wrote on their Facebook page, "We mean it when we say ALL leashed pets are welcome in our stores. We got a special visit from one of our favorite customers, Oliver the African Watusi!"
- It's amazing that Oliver was able to fit through the doors with those huge horns.
- So if I wanted to walk my pet elephant into the store on a leash, I could?
- Do you realize how many of those little dog poop bags it would take to clean up after a 1,200-pound cow?
- "Pardon me. Where is the livestock aisle?"
