A blind man fell onto the train tracks at a Metro station in Washington D.C. recently, but it only took a couple of minutes before good samaritans came to his rescue. The scary scene was captured on security camera footage and shows the passenger walking along the station platform, then falling over onto the tracks below.
The man manages to stand up and then passengers run over to the edge to help pull him back up to the platform. All of this happens just seconds before a train pulls into the station. The man was checked out at the hospital after his fall and Metro reports that fortunately his injuries were not life threatening and he’s expected to be okay.
