It's a familiar-sounding love story. Boy meets girl ... boy can't get in touch with girl ... boy emails every girl on his college campus with the name Nicole in hopes of finding her.
Carlos Zetina, a student at the University of Calgary, was out at a bar and met a girl named Nicole. She gave him her number, but when he tried to call her, the number didn't work.
Most guys in this situation would probably assume they were given a fake number, but not Carlos. The heart knows what it wants, so he was determined to find Nicole.
He looked up and down the student directory and sent an email to all 247 women named Nicole in hopes of finding her. He wrote, "If you don't fit this description then ignore and if you are the one and just don't want to talk to me that's OK as well."
His desperate search led one of these Nicoles to start a Facebook group called Nicole From Last Night, which has grown to include dozens of Nicoles. In fact, many of them have had large get-togethers and have bonded over Carlos's email.
The intended Nicole finally came forward, even though she wasn't actually on the email. She heard about Carlos's efforts and contacted him. They've since gone out together. (WPIX-TV)
